Jeep Offers 100 Wranglers if the U.S. Wins the FIFA World Cup

Jeep is adding a playful twist to the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a contest that could give away 100 new Wrangler vehicles.

As part of its “All In on America” campaign, Jeep announced that it will give away 100 2026 Jeep Wranglers if the United States wins the FIFA World Cup. But there is one very specific condition: winners must be legally named George Washington.

The campaign, called “Wranglers for Washingtons,” connects the World Cup with America’s 250th anniversary celebrations. To qualify, participants must be U.S. residents with “George” as their legal first name and “Washington” as their legal last name. Their middle name does not matter.

Of course, there is also a major football challenge involved. The U.S. men’s national team would need to win the FIFA World Cup for the prizes to be awarded, making the promotion both patriotic and unlikely — but also memorable.

Jeep’s campaign plays into the brand’s American identity and its connection to history. The company has also been recognized as one of the most patriotic brands in the United States, largely because of Jeep’s military roots during the Second World War.

The contest is part of a larger celebration around the Wrangler and America250, with special-edition vehicles featuring red, white, and blue design details.

For football fans, the promotion adds another funny storyline to the tournament. While most supporters are hoping their team can make history on the pitch, a very small group of people named George Washington may have an extra reason to cheer for the United States.

Whether or not the U.S. wins the World Cup, Jeep’s unusual contest has already succeeded in getting people talking.
