World Cup Welcome Canada is a community initiative by Centre Canada Newcomer Society that uses the excitement of the FIFA World Cup to bring newcomers and local communities together. Through stories, cultural spotlights, community events, and digital engagement, the project celebrates Canada's diversity while promoting inclusion, volunteerism, and social connection. This initiative is supported by the Canada Summer Jobs program, which helps provide meaningful work experience for youth while strengthening community-focused projects across Canada.
